A decade of celebrating the craft that moves us
Ten Years. One Standard: Exceptional.
Submit Your WorkWe told you something special was coming. Here it is.
This year, Motionographer celebrates 20 years. To mark the occasion, The Motion Awards X returns bigger than it has ever been.
Submissions are open again, now through January 15, 2027.
And for the first time, work published in 2025 and 2026 can both enter. A one-time anniversary exception. Eligible work must have been published or released by December 31, 2026 — the deadline gives you fifteen days after the year ends to gather credits and submit.
Our birthday gift to you: every submission entered by September 30 includes one additional submission, free. Automatically applied at checkout — no code, no application.
The birthday gift ends September 30. After that, it is gone.

For ten years, The Motion Awards has been the premier celebration of Motion Design, honoring the studios, artists, and visionaries who push the boundaries of what movement can communicate. From broadcast to interactive, commercial to experimental, we celebrate the craft that moves us all.
Motion Design isn't just a category. It's a discipline unto itself. While other awards treat it as a single line item, we see it for what it truly is. A community, an industry, and a craft that is constantly evolving. These are the disciplines we celebrate.
Beyond the fifteen disciplines, three singular honors stand apart. Two are new to TMA X. None can be submitted for, none can be purchased. One is chosen by the jury from the year's finest winning work. One is chosen by the community. One is chosen by conscience alone. All three exist because the most important recognition is the kind that can't be negotiated.
The highest recognition in The Motion Awards. After all category Winners are determined, the full jury reconvenes on those winning pieces alone and selects the single work that represents the finest achievement in Motion Design of that year. Not a separate entry. Not a public vote. The jury's collective answer to one question: of everything that won, what was truly exceptional? If no single piece rises above the rest with sufficient distinction, it will not be given. That restraint is what makes it mean something when it is.
For the first time in ten years, the community votes. Every shortlisted entry across all fifteen disciplines becomes eligible. One vote per person. One winner. The piece the Motion Design community chose to call its own — the work that moved everyone, together.
A tradition since the second edition. One piece — not necessarily a winner, not necessarily nominated — chosen for a message so powerful it transcends any notion of craft or category. Selected personally by Carlos El Asmar, Founder of The Motion Awards, from every entry submitted. People may disagree with the choice. That's the point. It may not be given every year. When it is, it means everything.
Pay now to lock in your current pricing tier, your entry remains editable until you’re ready to submit.
Note: Pricing tiers change automatically on the dates above. The system will prevent entry submission after January 15, 2027 at 11:59pm Pacific.
Over the past decade, more than 200 industry leaders, studio founders, creative directors, and artists have served as judges for The Motion Awards. For our Xth Edition, we assembled a specially curated jury to honor the best work of the year.
