Welcome to Q-NIVERSE! ✨
The Q-niverse is home to virtual manifestations of laws that protect members of the LGBTQIA+ community in the public schools of New York. It’s a world that embodies the best parts of cyberspace.
The goal is to educate and empower youth to advocate for their right to a gender-affirming school environment. To make it easier for community to pick up the right laws, we created a gang of five characters to represent DOE laws – FERPA, EAA, DASA and TITLE IX. Each law has its own unique look, personality and vibe. This allows the youth of NYC public schools to connect emotionally and cognitively to the diverse aspects of LGBTQIA+ rights.
