Photons in Time is a dynamic typography piece I created to the soundtrack of a Neil deGrasse Tyson talk which delves into the subject of photons and the passage of time at light speed.
Inspired by the timeless charm of 1960s textbooks, and their use of the timeless Helvetica font and abstract geometric patterns, I aimed to evoke the nostalgic essence of well-worn educational materials.
The intentional distressing and tactile elements incorporated into the design reflects the aged textbooks, inviting viewers to embark on a journey through both science and design history.
