Rhythm, expressiveness, energy, abstraction, beauty, all on the edge of chaos- these ideas guided my sound design process for FutureProof ’25. I began the piece with a piano, setting an expected tone for tried-and-true motion design, then (just like the animators!) up-ended everything with a sudden explosion of texture.
Swing the viewer onto a rollercoaster ride through the colorful visual story, anchored equally colorfully by percussion and harmony.
Together, we soar through interwoven scenes of playful destruction and transformation, culminating in a grand crescendo, before diving into an techno-ambient outro- a whisper from the future.
