Title sequence for a documentary feature.

Project Description

The title sequence for ‘Curry & Cyanide’ delves into the intricate layers of its narrative, teasing the audience with glimpses of the unsettling journey ahead. The film is about Jolly Joseph, who allegedly murdered 6 of her family members with poison over 14 years.

Unlike blood-soaked narratives about serial killers, our challenge lay in subtly depicting the slow, sinister undertone of death by poisoning unfolding over the years.

Set against the backdrop of a traditional Indian household, everyday objects became the medium through which our story unfolded, each frame laden with cryptic symbolism and subtle clues.

We aimed to evoke a palpable sense of tension, foreshadowing the impending danger and suspense awaiting viewers.

Excitement peaked when the producers chose to utilize the textless sequence as a trailer, offering a tantalizing preview of the film’s enigmatic allure.
