Design studio concept: Golden Torrent
“Golden Torrent” is an animated video commissioned by Alkass Sports channels to cover the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The animation’s objective was to promote Qatar as the host country for FWC 2022 and showcase it as an enchanting tourist destination. The creative concept, “Golden Torrent,” gracefully merges the passion for football and the gold of the World Cup with the scenic beauty of Qatar’s landscape and architecture.
The animation portrays the world’s attention shifting towards Qatar, where global cheers transform into gusts of wind, stirring sand in the dunes and waters. A radiant, golden torrent emerges, symbolizing the fusion of passion and natural elements, flowing through stadiums and iconic structures.
The musical composition aimed for an epic style with a gradual buildup, incorporating subtle elements of Arabic music to create a specific atmosphere related to the magical nights of the Middle East.
