Identity tells the story of the history of Czech graphic design and typography, with a strong focus on posters, type, books, and visual identity.
Following the journey of American art collector Nicholas Lowry, who has Czech roots himself, the audience is introduced to iconic works by artists such as Alfons Mucha or Ladislav Sutnar, as well as the ubiquitous wayfinding system of the Prague metro and tourist outdoor signage.
Motion designer Vit Zemcik was commisioned to create a title sequence based on elements from these iconic works, choreographed together with the titles to finish up the whole movie.
