For Womankind’s annual gala, they set out to create a video unlike any before—one that harnessed the full power of animation. 87th Street Creative’s challenge was to tell the organization’s backstory while ensuring the central character, a survivor of domestic violence, felt truly universal—neither young nor old, not tied to any specific ethnicity, but someone anyone could see themselves in. Equally important was showcasing Womankind’s far-reaching impact, both in geography and in the breadth of services they provide.
