“Sights on Scene” is a story about seeing the unseen through the lens of a skateboarder. In this visual narrative we explore the everlasting search for spots to skate, a journey that ultimately shapes the way you perceive the world.
Skaters see the world differently. Our search for new skateable locations encourage us to explore and pay attention to our surroundings. What others might overlook, we embrace – Plazas, parks, and schoolyards become sanctuaries, filled with benches, ledges, stairs, and rails—elements that fuel our creativity.
This piece explores the deep connection between skateboarding and urban architecture, where “spots” serve as our main characters and the environment as our stage. Along the way, we face obstacles like cracks, skate stoppers, and uneven surfaces. Yet, through persistence and adaptation, spots evolve, leading to new opportunities. Skateboarding thrives on this constant reinvention, shaping both the skater and the environment in an endless creative cycle.
